Diana Cihak is the President of Upper Edge Consulting, a grant writing and government relations firm that assists businesses, non-profits and municipalities find and secure economic development opportunities. Upper Edge serves clients across New York State and is a certified Women-owned Business.
Diana is the Founder and Board President of WEPac and the creater of the WomenElect program. WomenElect is a four-month leadership development program that works with qualified, pro-choice women to get them ready to run for public office. The course assists the women in assessing their inner strengths and external networks of support so that they can be ready to run successful campaigns that will benefit their communities. WEPac is a political action committee that assists those women who graduate from the program when they are ready to throw their hat in the ring. The program, based in Buffalo, has expanded to Rochester, Corning and Albany with plans for further expansion across New York State in the future.
Diana has been featured in the New York Times and the Buffalo News. She has appeared on Fox Business News, WGRZ, WBFO and the Canadian Network Television station CTS as well as in numerous local publications.
Diana serves as the State Vice Chair for the Women’s Equality Party and serves as the President of the Advisory Board of the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College as well as a member of the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women. She lives in Buffalo with her three children.
